The Black Stars of Ghana will begin their training camp on Sunday, November 17, in Accra as they gear up for their final two matches in the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers.

A 25-man squad will assemble at the Accra Sports Stadium, where they’ll hold a series of training sessions before departing for Luanda on Wednesday, November 13. Ghana’s first match will be an away fixture against Angola on Friday, November 15, at the Estádio 11 de Novembro.

Following their game in Angola, the Black Stars will return to Accra to host Niger in their final group-stage match on Monday, November 18, at the Accra Sports Stadium.

The stakes are high for Ghana, who currently sit third in Group F with just two points from four matches. To qualify, they must secure wins in both remaining games and hope for Sudan to drop points, as they trail Sudan by five points and group leaders Angola by ten.

If Sudan manages a draw in their last matches, Ghana’s hopes of returning to AFCON, an achievement they’ve missed for two decades, will be over.

With Thomas Partey absent from the squad, Jordan Ayew will step in as captain to lead the Black Stars in these decisive matches.
