President John Dramani Mahama has confirmed that findings from the Operation Recover All Loot (ORAL) Committee will be handed over to the appropriate investigative bodies to probe individuals suspected of misappropriating state resources.

He revealed that the committee is scheduled to submit its report next week.

Speaking during his ‘Thank You’ tour in the Central Region on Thursday, February 6, Mahama reiterated his administration’s strong stance against corruption, promising to hold both past and present government officials accountable.

“The ORAL Committee will present its report to me next week, and I will immediately refer it to the investigative agencies to begin their work against those who have misused the country’s resources,” he stated.

Mahama emphasized that his government will work in the interest of all Ghanaians, not just a select few, and reaffirmed his commitment to ensuring transparency and accountability.

As part of broader anti-corruption efforts, he announced plans to introduce a stringent accountability framework and a code of conduct for individuals in positions of power.

“While we investigate those who have just left office under Operation Recover All Loot, current officeholders must also understand that they will be held to the same ethical standards,” he stressed.
