In the ongoing 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON), Ghana's Black Stars will be awarded a $700,000 consolation reward for finishing in third place in Group B. A share of the $34.6 million prize money for the event was awarded to them despite their lack of progress to the knockout stages.
