Vice President Prof. Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang is set to begin a three-week medical leave starting Monday, April 7, sources at the Jubilee House have confirmed.

The decision to take time off was made following medical advice from her physician, after she recently experienced health challenges.

Prior to this development, Prof. Opoku-Agyemang sought initial medical attention at the University of Ghana Medical Centre in Accra. She later traveled abroad for further treatment, prompting the need for an extended period of rest and recovery.

Her office has yet to release an official statement, but insiders say the break is purely health-related and necessary to ensure her full recovery.
