Ghanaian Actor Akrobeto Survives Ghastly Accident on Accra-Kumasi Highway

Popular Ghanaian actor and television personality Akwasi Boadi, widely known as Akrobeto, has shared details of a serious accident he survived on Friday, May 23, 2025, along the Accra-Kumasi Highway.

In a video shared by UTV on X, Akrobeto expressed heartfelt thanks to God for his life and appreciation to those who reached out with concern and support. The incident occurred near Konongo in the Ashanti Region, just outside the town, as he was en route to Kumasi.

Recounting the terrifying moment, Akrobeto described the crash as "fatal" and said his Toyota SUV was hit and dragged approximately 30 meters by a heavy-duty truck. “The car rammed into mine and dragged me for about 30 meters before the articulator came to a halt for me to also come to a stop,” he narrated. “The entire place became crowded in less than five minutes.”

Miraculously, both Akrobeto and a passenger he was giving a lift to escaped unhurt. They were taken to the Kumasi Hospital for evaluation, where doctors confirmed that neither of them had sustained any injuries.

“The doctor looked at me and my car and said, ‘Your God is a big God.’ Nothing bad happened to me,” Akrobeto said, visibly moved by the experience.

He concluded by thanking Ghanaians for their overwhelming love and prayers during this trying moment.
