Under the royal leadership of Togbe Dorglo Anumah VI, President of the Avenor Traditional Council and Paramount Chief of the Avenor Traditional Area, the festival aims to strengthen cultural bonds and foster growth within the area.

Dr. Sena Kpeglo-Freiku, Vice Chairman of the Festival Central Planning Committee, shared in an interview with Adom News that the 2024 edition, set for November, will include various activities such as the traditional pilgrimage to ‘Datsutagba’, a health walk, musical performances, and more.

He called on all Avenor natives and friends of the community to come together in support of a meaningful and unified celebration, emphasizing the festival’s theme, “Fostering Peace and Unity for Sustainable Development in Avenor.”

Dr. Kpeglo-Freiku also appealed to political parties and citizens to maintain the peace the nation currently enjoys, especially as elections approach. In addition, he reaffirmed the Avenor Traditional Area’s commitment to environmental protection and preserving the nation’s natural resources.
