The National Democratic Congress (NDC) Majority Caucus in Parliament has unveiled its new leadership team, following the appointment of several Members of Parliament to key ministerial roles in President John Mahama’s administration.

Under the new structure, Bawku Central MP Mahama Ayariga has been named Majority Leader, replacing Dr. Cassiel Ato Forson, who now serves as Finance Minister.

Cape Coast South MP Kweku Ricketts-Hagan has taken over as Deputy Majority Leader, succeeding Ellembelle MP Emmanuel Armah-Kofi Buah, who was appointed Minister for Lands and Natural Resources.

Meanwhile, South Dayi MP Rockson-Nelson Dafeamekpor steps into the role of Majority Chief Whip, replacing Adaklu MP Governs Kwame Agbodza, who now heads the Ministry of Roads and Highways.

The new leadership team also includes Ada MP Comfort Doyoe Cudjoe as First Deputy Majority Chief Whip, and Bia East MP Richard Acheampong as Second Deputy Majority Chief Whip.

This leadership reshuffle comes at a crucial moment as the NDC Majority Caucus gears up to address significant national issues, including tackling economic challenges, advancing infrastructure projects, and implementing social welfare reforms.
