The Black Stars have arrived in Benina, Libya, ahead of their crucial Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) Matchday Four qualifier against Sudan. The team departed Accra at 10:40 a.m. and landed at Benina International Airport at 6:30 p.m. local time on Sunday.

This match is pivotal for Ghana as they seek to bounce back after a goalless draw at the Accra Sports Stadium on Thursday. A victory would significantly bolster their chances of advancing to the AFCON tournament in Morocco next year.

Ahead of the game, the Black Stars are set to hold their mandatory pre-match training session at the Martyrs of February Stadium on Monday. The highly anticipated clash is scheduled for 13:00 GMT on Tuesday, October 15, 2024.

Ghana currently sits third in Group F with 2 points, trailing second-placed Sudan by 2 points and group leaders Angola, who are firmly in control with 9 points. Securing a win would strengthen Ghana’s campaign in their push for AFCON qualification.
