What is Independence? #Koforidua2024

Ghana, formerly the Gold Coast, is the first country south of the Sahara to gain Independence on 6^th March, 1957. The feat also inspired other African countries to fight for Independence.

The Independence Day of Ghana is a national holiday celebrated yearly. This day is an official state holiday for the citizens of Ghana both within and in the diaspora to honour and celebrate the Heroes of Ghana who led the country to attain its independence.

This year the Biggest Celebration will be at Koforidua, Eastern Region where the President of Ghana will present. Everything is set.
