The Speaker of Parliament, Alban Bagbin, has confirmed that the seventh meeting of the fourth session of the eighth Parliament of Ghana’s Fourth Republic will take place at the Grand Arena of the Accra International Conference Centre.
This announcement follows an earlier notice, dated December 2, 2024, summoning Members of Parliament to reconvene.
According to a statement from the Speaker’s office, the session is scheduled to begin on Monday, December 16, 2024, at 10 a.m. It will focus on critical legislative business as the parliamentary calendar nears its end.
This session is particularly significant as the eighth Parliament has come under increased scrutiny in recent months, heightening the importance of its deliberations for effective governance and decision-making.
