Prof. Ransford Gyampo appointed Acting CEO of Ghana Shippers Authority

President John Dramani Mahama has named Professor Ransford Gyampo, a political science lecturer at the University of Ghana, as the Acting Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Shippers Authority.

Professor Gyampo replaces Kwesi Baffour Sarpong, who was appointed to the role in December 2023 under the administration of President Nana Akufo-Addo.

His appointment takes immediate effect, as confirmed in an official letter issued by Dr. Calistus Mahama, the Executive Secretary to the President.

To facilitate a smooth transition, Mr. Sarpong has been instructed to swiftly hand over responsibilities to Professor Gyampo.
