Black Stars head coach Otto Addo is set to unveil his squad today for the final rounds of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers.
Ghana’s senior national team will wrap up their qualification campaign with two decisive matches against Angola and Niger in Matchday five and six.
Following a challenging start, the Black Stars are focused on securing their place in the 2025 tournament, which will be hosted in Morocco.
Addo’s squad will first travel to Luanda, where they will face Angola at the Estádio 11 de Novembro on November 15. They will then return to Ghana to host Niger at the Accra Sports Stadium on November 18.
The announcement is scheduled for 12:00 PM at the Ghana Football Association (GFA) Conference Room.
Ghana’s AFCON qualifying journey began with a tough start, marked by a loss to Angola at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium and a 1-1 draw against Niger in Berkane. A doubleheader against Sudan saw the Black Stars held to a scoreless draw at home, followed by a 2-0 defeat in the away leg in Libya.
With these results, Ghana currently sits in third place in Group F, holding two points from four matches, trailing both Angola’s Palancas Negras and Sudan.
For the Black Stars to qualify, they must secure victories in both of their upcoming matches and rely on Sudan losing their remaining games.
