The National Identification Authority (NIA) has adjusted the fees for various Ghana Card services at designated registration centers.

In a public notice, the NIA outlined the new charges for first-time registration, card replacement, and record updates.

Under the revised fee structure, both first-time registration and record updates will cost GH₵310.00. Replacing a lost or damaged Ghana Card will require a payment of GH₵420.00. Individuals who need to update their records while replacing their card will be charged GH₵355.00, while those seeking to update their nationality details will pay GH₵365.00.

The NIA clarified that these fees apply only at specific registration centers.

The Ghana Card serves as the country’s official national identification document, playing a crucial role in government services, banking, healthcare, and electoral activities.
