Defence Minister Dr. Edward Omane Boamah has announced that the government is collaborating with the National Homeownership Fund (NHF) to secure additional housing for members of the Ghana Armed Forces.

In a statement shared via his official Facebook page on Monday, June 23, Dr. Boamah revealed that productive discussions had taken place with the NHF aimed at improving accommodation for officers and personnel across the tri-service—Army, Navy, and Air Force.

He reaffirmed the government's commitment to the welfare of security forces, stating, “The service and sacrifice of our military personnel deserve nothing less than our full support.”

Dr. Boamah also extended his gratitude to the NHF team for their efforts in advancing the initiative, singling out CEO Prosper Hoetu and team members George Armah Tetteh, Rachel Ablah Aculey, Samuel Etornam Kornu, and William Oduro Ampaw for their dedication.

He ended his message with a call for public solidarity: “Let’s continue to stand behind our brave men and women in uniform.”
