Government has extended the GH¢2 per litre reduction in the regulatory margin on diesel into the next pricing window in September to cushion consumers against rising fuel prices. The intervention, initially introduced as a temporary measure, is expected to provide relief to motorists, transport operators and businesses as diesel prices remain around GH¢17 per litre, while COPEC has warned that prices could approach GH¢20 if the reduction is withdrawn.
