The government has completed the evacuation of nearly 1,900 Ghanaians from South Africa following xenophobic attacks. The final batch of 41 returnees arrived in Ghana on September 4, marking the end of the exercise, which began in May. Three deaths were recorded, including two Ghanaians who were killed in South Africa and one returnee who died after arriving in Accra.
