The Ghana Armed Forces Engineers have cleared 170 kilometres of the 176-kilometre corridor earmarked for the proposed Accra–Kumasi Expressway, leaving just six kilometres to complete. The corridor-clearing exercise is now in its final stage and will pave the way for major construction works aimed at improving connectivity, reducing travel time and easing congestion between Accra and Kumasi.
