COP Maame Yaa Tiwaa Addo-Danquah Assumes Role as Technical Advisor to Interior Minister

Commissioner of Police (COP) Maame Yaa Tiwaa Addo-Danquah has officially taken up her new position as the Technical Advisor to Interior Minister Muntaka Mohammed-Mubarak.

She assumed office on Thursday, March 20, 2025, after being reassigned from her previous role as Director of Research and Planning at the Ghana Police Service.

The Ministry of the Interior marked her first day with a series of photos shared on its official Facebook page, highlighting her interactions with the Minister and other key officials.

Welcoming COP Addo-Danquah, Minister Mohammed-Mubarak stressed the importance of teamwork in fulfilling the Ministry’s mission. “I look forward to working closely with you to achieve our goals,” he stated.

In response, COP Addo-Danquah expressed her gratitude for the warm welcome and assured the Minister of her dedication to supporting the Ministry’s initiatives.

Her new role will see her collaborating with key stakeholders to strengthen security policies and strategies aimed at improving law enforcement and public safety in Ghana.
