Zeepay was at a point one of the fastest growing fintechs in Ghana. I did have my doubt with regards to their operations when they started international remittances + having their short code to battle Telco’s mobile money moat but nothing that caused me to lose sleep. Hearing about their legal issues however was not on my bingo card for 2026. I’ve tried following news articles around what’s going on with this case but the information seems pieced out across several platforms.
